The Green Room Theatre Company visited us recently to put on a fantastic performance of their Valentine’s themed show, 'Letters of Love'. The residents really enjoyed the story, listening to the songs and interacting with the performers – we all love some audience participation!

The Green Room Theatre visited the residents of Windsor Court again recently for another fantastic show. Their performance of ‘The Prom’ encouraged our residents to reminisce about trips to the seaside with their wonderful stories. The residents enjoyed listening to the stories and had a lot of fun joining in with a sing-along.
We welcomed back the amazing Green Room Theatre this morning, who gave us a lovely performance mixed with singing, dancing and games.
We love having them come and entertain us and can't wait for them to come back

Our first Christmas show was the wonderful Green Room performing "Jingle Belles"
These two lovely ladies used to be activities coordinators (like me, Jeannette and Helen) so they really understand the mix of song and reminiscence that engage our residents.
It certainly got us into a jolly, jingly Christmas spirit.
We had the fabulous The Green Room in to perform their remembrance show for us, it was a fun filled afternoon of theatre and singing, all enjoyed over a beautiful cream tea.
It was absolute pleasure to have the green room come to visit us here at the links, they put on wonderful pantomime about the famous children's author Enid Blyton who wrote over 700 books in her time.
Our residents had a lovely time watching the show and reminiscing about all the books they read as children and to their children that were written by Enid Blyton.

They took us on a journey through Valentine's Day, which included performing well-known songs for us to sing-along to. we can't wait to see them again in May for something special - a performance to mark the VE 80th Anniversary!
